As we come to the end of what has been a very different year, I have been spending time reflecting. It has been a year of challenges, not only the obvious one that the world has been adapting to, but we have also all had our own personal obstacles that have felt much greater due to not being able to be with our friends and family. That being said, there have been many positive lessons made from 2020 and moving forward to next year I feel confident that it will be a year filled with good health, opportunities and happy times.
I feel eternally grateful to each and everyone who has continued to support homeSPA over the past year even though we have been closed more weeks than open. It was lovely to hear from and keep in touch with so many of you whilst being closed and I feel blessed for all the orders placed, lovely messages, likes on Instagram and little gifts left on the doorstep.
Reflections
Thank you to all those who completed the survey that I sent earlier in the month. I was so touched by the wonderful comments however all the responses came back as anonymous so here is a summary of a couple of point; if you have any further comments please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Stock : More core stock will be held however due to the shelf life of the Environ they recommend not holding a high level of stock. I will set a couple of dates a month for ordering and I can send a reminder message a couple of days before I place the order.
If you expressed interest in the Seasonal Boxes please let me know.
Currently there are no brochures out from any product company due to limiting touch points however I will put together some packs if you are interested which will be available.
There are hooks for your coat and clothes and I will provide a basket or stool for your bag
Website: HMPhotography has been working an ecommerce and this will launch in the first part of 2021 along with a little more information on the website. Videos will hopefully be available in the in the first half of next year
Communications will mainly be email as requested
I currently hold a variety of 68 Gelcolors. My aim with the colours has always been to hold a variety but not too many as it is not the only treatment I offer, and they do go off. I have found in the past that when I have invested in ‘trendy’ colours they are not selected and are wasted. If there is ever a colour you would like, please let me know prior to your appointment
Massage mediums: If you would prefer a massage cream instead of an oil please do let me know prior to your appointment and this is something that can be provided.
A couple of treatment requests were Indian Head Massage which I do currently offer and Podiatry.
This is not something that I will be offering however I have been researching local establishments and went to meet a Podiatrist just before Christmas so if you would like the details please ask.
For those wanting to find out some more information about the Vitamin Drips please send me an email and later in the year I will send you some more information and with the idea to organise an event.
Online bookings: The request for online bookings was quite low however I will be trialling this when I organise the Skin Scan Day in January (subject to government restrictions)
I gained so much from all your feedback and as I said earlier, was so touched by the lovely compliments.
Looking Ahead
March 2021 will be an exciting month for homeSPA as we celebrate 10 YEARS in business. There are many exciting changes ahead and a few tweaks you will notice regarding the website, colour branding, gift certificates and brochures.
Another change which we have been busy working on over the past 8 weeks is relocating the treatment room. This is due to be fully complete by March however as of January your treatments will be in the new room (Still arrive to the front door as before).
I am very much looking forward to welcoming you into the new space.
