For many years, as a family we wrote annual highlights. I thought I would share some of my highlights as I look back over the last year. It is so important to reflect on events and paths that have lead us to the present and with this we are able to look forward.
Beginning 2021 in lock down did not reflect the tone of the year. I cannot thank you enough for the continued support to my business whilst not being able to be in treatments due to the restrictions we have experienced.
January, February and March focused my time on Flex Rental and homecare consultations all the while on a personal level feeling like a ticking time bomb coming towards the end of a blessed but very difficult pregnancy.
March was a very special month as we welcomed our second son, William, into the world.
April was a very proud moment as we celebrated homeSPAs 10th Anniversary. Whilst the industry re-opened on 12th April I took these first few weeks to settle into a new routine at home.
May 10th and I reopened and welcomed you into the new treatment space that had been a project completed in December 2020.
May, June, July, August was a time for seeing you again and doing the treatments that I had missed so much. It was a great time to see up close how, for many, the homecare tweaks had been helping on your skins journey.
September and October was the start of school life for us as our eldest started school. This brought with it changes in working hours and different demands. Throughout these two months we faced a few hurdles and so being in treatments was a great escape for me and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you all.
November and a new treatment that I have wanted to introduce for some time. Mesotherapy training with an incredible trainer. From January I will be running Meso Clinics for this treatment, stay tuned.
December was a busy month of treatments, studying in the background from my training in November and lots of product deliveries in preparation for Christmas. I also partnered with Albus & Flora. A lovely company with an award winning, capsule line of high performance lip care. The Multi-Active lip balm SPF 30 has been a great addition to homeSPAs homecare. At the end of work before Christmas I took a box down to Caterham foodbank with donations from some of you and it was gratefully received.

My goal for you all is that your time at homeSPA is restorative, where you are able to escape from everyday demands and enjoy your selfcare. Whether you come for some time to switch off, work on skin concerns, maintain skin health, prepare for special occasions I am so grateful you have chosen homeSPA to be your place to do that.
An admin note: I really do appreciate your patience with my not immediate reply. I am putting in place a new system for work admin at a set time everyday and I will be trying this throughout January.
From January hS Blog will take a slightly different format. Look out for the first Edit 0.1. There will be an Edit every other month. If there are any new updates in between there will be a Mini Edit or it will be posted on Instagram.
I am looking forward to the year ahead, the new planner is already in use and I am excited to see where this journey leads us.
